From West to East
Thomas Lesinski (Germany)
Full-time Class of 2009
The MBA journey is life-changing, even when your horizons are already broad. Our alumnus, Thomas Lesinski, early followed his passion for other countries, eventually graduating with a CUHK MBA in 2009. Volkswagen Consulting then lured him back to Germany until he relocated to China in 2013.
Thomas recently recounted his experience of crossing from West to East,
offering insightful observations about China’s business culture. He also gave practical tips for developing a career in Asia.

We are welcoming the 2014 intake of students this August! With a series of pre-term activities including a Welcome Orientation, Outward Bound and Pre-term Seminar, new students will bond closely with each other in preparation to meet all the exciting challenges ahead.

Chiharu Publishes Book on Asian MBAs
|

Other parts of Asia are rapidly increasing in importance as destinations for Japanese business executives pursuing MBA studies. Seeing a lack of organized information despite the soaring interest, our alumna Ms. Chiharu Kajinami (Class of 2012) recently published a book entitled “アジアでMBA 〜もっと気軽に、もっと成長できる場所へ〜” (MBA in Asia – A carefree location for your development). This is the first book to provide comprehensive information on 14
business schools in 5 Asian cities, with 21 alumni from the schools sharing their experiences and Chiharu offering a first-hand, lively sharing of her CUHK and exchange MBA life.

E-device Collection Campaign
|
|

The CUHK Business School and AIA are co-organizing an E-device Collection Campaign. The initiative is designed to encourage CUHK alumni, students and staff to donate used e-devices to the Caritas Computer Workshop, a non-profit organization that will erase old data and add new software to the devices before giving them to people who need them most.
