CUHK MBA offers a wide range of merit-based scholarship to incoming students.

They are awarded based on applicants' academic and professional achievements, personal accomplishments, interview performance and potential contributions to the MBA program.

Scholarships for 2017 Part-time MBA applicants

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) MBA Program encourages high-caliber candidates fulfilling its requirements to apply early for scholarships.

All entrance scholarships are awarded according to the candidate’s ability to add value to a dynamic classroom, work experience, academic and professional merits, and business leadership potential. Applications are assessed based on the information submitted online. Additional statement may be required where applicable.


The CUHK MBA 50th Anniversary Merit Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: 50%  of the tuition fee (5 Awards)


The CUHK MBA 50th Anniversary Merit Scholarship is awarded to the most outstanding applicants identified during the admissions process. Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Strong academic credentials and outstanding professional experience and achievements.
  • A minimum GMAT of 650.

Eligibility Criteria and General Notes

All listed scholarships and awards are open to candidates applying for CUHK MBA’s part-time intake for 2017. To be eligible, applicants must complete and submit their applications by the designated deadline(s).

In order to benefit from a scholarship, awardees must commence their part-time MBA studies at CUHK during academic year 2017-18.

Applicants’ eligibility and the amount of scholarships and any additional scholarships they may receive will be assessed and determined by CUHK MBA Admissions Committee. The final decision will be based on each candidate’s prior academic performance, work experience, GMAT scores and interview performances. Any scholarship awarded will subsequently be deducted from the successful applicant’s program tuition fees.

CUHK’s MBA program reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions applied to these scholarships at any time and without prior notice. All amended terms and conditions will be timely published on our website. All decisions related to admission and scholarships will be subject to the approval and confirmation of the CUHK MBA Programs Office and will be final.

Loan Provided By “Prodigy Finance” for International Students

Prodigy Finance provides loan to CUHK MBA international students. Noted that only international students are eligible for application, and the loan can only be used to pay the tuition fee. Continuing Education Fund for Hong Kong Residents

Hong Kong residents who have the right of abode or the right to land or to remain in Hong Kong without restriction are eligible to apply for the Continuing Education Fund (CEF). For details regarding eligibility and application procedures, please visit CEF website at

CUHK MBA Programs are listed as a reimbursement course under the Continuing Education Fund, providing reimbursement of up to HK$10,000 to those who fulfill the criteria.
