The CUHK MBA Experience Day 2023
The CUHK MBA Experience Day was successfully held on 3 December 2022 with aspiring young professionals joining the occasion on campus and online. It shows that even in an economic downturn, the demand for “self-improvement” among working professionals has been increasing. The occasion was a great time mingling and networking.
The Experience Day has shown multiple perspectives of our MBA programme with rich content. A brief overview and study experience were presented to MBA aspirants in a session by Prof Wan Wongsunsai, our Associate Dean, and some students and alumni. As one of the Top 50 MBA programmes in the world, CUHK MBA has a long history of 56 years and a global alumni network. The top-notch academics, the rich resources provided by the school, and the strong support of the alumni will bring value to students for a lifetime.
We invited 4 alumni (Mr. Franklin Law, Ms.Olivia Saha, Mr. Frank Tam and Mr. Jeffrey Wong) and 2 current students (Mr. Ben La Brooy and Ms. Penny Poon) to share their experiences in MBA study, including overseas study tours, business competitions and student club activities. The session was then followed by a communication workshop led by Prof Tina Choi, we are glad to see many prospects engaged in the activity. The Experience Day was wrapped with an insightful finance masterclass taster delivered by Prof Ling Cen. He first analyzed several major factors driving and affecting the M&A market, then shared his views on the M&A trend during the pandemic and also the outlook for the M&A market in 2023.
