The evening was highlighted by a networking reception where fine wines and a huge selection of canapés were served to the guests. A memorable event indeed and we wish our students a fruitful MBA journey!!

MBA Welcome Orientation

On 15 August, a welcome orientation kick-started the journey for the new batch of full-time and part-time MBA students. The day was full-on with the morning session covering an overview of what to expect during the programmes plus an introduction of the services provided by our Career Management Centre. Whilst the afternoon session was set in motion by a sumptuous “Dim Sum” lunch then a workshop delivered by a representative from Lumières on the history and working culture in Hong Kong. We hope to provide support and advice to all our students from the very first day so that this great connection amongst our students and with the school helps create a wonderful learning experience for all.

Experiential Learning Through SPLASH For Our New MBA Cohorts!

Our new MBA intake came together for an intensive Pre-term in Mid-August. It includes SPLASH projects, a 2-day experiential programme for our fresh MBA students where they engaged in a community serving project with a Hong Kong based charity. This course is designed to explore students’ key management capabilities including skills in problem-solving, team-building, leadership and communication under unfamiliar conditions. This pre-term course also aims to stimulate thoughts and discussions on some of the current and future challenges faced by managers and leaders on the global stage, with workshops focusing on sustainability, general management and ethics.
