MBA Connect Story:
Cruising into Meaningful Endeavours

Keiichi Fujito (Full-Time, Class of 2016)
Marketing Lead, Philips Japan
Keiichi Fujito was previously with SECOM, the largest security firm for over 12 years. In 2018, he took up a lead marketing role for AED (Automated Electronic Defibrillator) at Philips for the Japanese market.
With a full company sponsorship for an MBA course, Fujito had plenty of choices as to whereabouts to undertake the course.  However, he opted for CUHK for a huge array of reasons, its class diversities, practical marketing and entrepreneurship courses and the choices of universities for exchange.  Equally important, CUHK Business School has a long history of establishment and an extensive alumni network which is crucial for doing business in Asia.  All factors combined, CUHK MBA programmes ultimately became the best choice.

Road to Career Success - Chat with 3 Young Indian Alumni

Speaking with three young Indian alumni as they share their insights on their MBA journey with CUHK.

Adil Saxena, Tejas Raval
and Sagar Kalra came to Hong Kong because they see the irreversible economic growth in Asia and particularly in China. They believed that Hong Kong, as an international city and financial hubs, can offer them a lot of opportunities to learn and to develop the different skills needed to thrive in a multicultural and challenging environment. For Tejas and Sagar, Hong Kong is one of the major financial hubs and a great place to make a career shift to the financial sector.

For them, an MBA can help them move up the career ladder. They decided to pursue their MBA at CUHK because it is one of Hong Kong’s most established business schools with a huge global alumni base. Curriculum-wise, the one-year MBA programme offered a lot of flexibility over the choices of courses that suited their career interests. The small and yet diverse class was another plus factor.

Caring for the Environment - Beach Clean-up Day!

The CUHK CSR Club, co-hosted with the MBA Sports Club for a meaningful Beach Clean-up Day just before the Chinese New Year,   Volunteers were treated to beautiful weather in scenic Starfish Bay, Ma On Shan but were startled by the amount of rubbish in our oceans. Batteries, fishing nets, plastic bottles and other miscellaneous rubbish plague coastlines worldwide. It's truly inspiring how our students can help make the world cleaner, one beach at a time!
