What Our MBA Students Say for the Thailand Study Trip

Ben TAN (Full-time Year 1 Student):

“It was a grateful and unforgettable trip to Thailand, which differed a lot from those regular company visits. We actually met a few brilliant brand founders who built their business empires  and they did not hesitate to share some great ideas and hard-fighting experiences. After all, we really learnt some new business ideas and models. More importantly, we could further apply those tools to our own businesses and jobs. I believe the Thailand trip will become one of the most favorable options among all study trips.”

Karen CHEUNG (Part-time Year 2 Student):

“The first Thailand study trip was incredible. We visited several local companies like satellite TV station and pharmaceutical manufacturer, cosmetic company and Thai-boxing gymnasium. They are very diverse in terms of business nature, business model and marketing strategy. Thanks for Prof. Powpaka’s great network and tremendous effort on making this trip so fruitful and insightful!”

Joe CHEN (Part-time Year 3 Student):

“Unlike other study trips, Thailand trip is closely tied to the local cultures. The cultural tour was a good start, and each company we visited on the following days has its unique connection with its surrounding, which better shaped our perceptions of the business ecology. We were impressed by those CEOs with a variety of backgrounds and how their different backgrounds motivated them to address business issues in different ways. The hands-on practice during the lecture was never forgotten. And finally, Buakaw’s show-up on the last day was really the highlight.”
