GBA HR Symposium & CAP Scheme Kick-Off Ceremony 2025

The GBA HR Symposium (the “GHS”) is the signature event under the P-Pillar of the CUHK MBA’s LEAP Programme. As Asia strengthens its position as a global economic powerhouse, GHS aims to equip participants with the essential personal and career development knowledge and skills needed to thrive in this dynamic environment. Held annually in the Greater Bay Area (GBA), this symposium focuses on contemporary Human Resources (HR), career development challenges and opportunities faced by the CUHK MBA students and graduates in the context of the Asian Century. By fostering engaging discussions on diverse HR expectations and innovative talent strategies, the symposium enhances participants’ understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the region. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with HR experts and thought leaders, gaining invaluable insights that will empower them to navigate their careers effectively and make meaningful contributions to the evolving workplace in Asia. The pilot of the GHS will be launched on 28 April 2025, at the CUHK Business School, featuring Mr Francis Mok (EMBA 1995), the former President of the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resources Management, as the inaugural speaker in the CUHK MBA’s GHS series.

The Career Accelerating Programme (the “CAP Scheme”) is one of the outcome-based LEAP Schemes under the P-Pillar of the CUHK MBA’s LEAP Programme. The CAP Scheme is a pioneering personal and career development initiative tailored exclusively for CUHK MBA students and recent graduates. It aims to enhance their personal and career intelligence and readiness, and to nurture future business leaders poised for success in the evolving business landscape in the Asian Century.
