Experiential Learning

Business Practicum, Sustainable Business Transformation – Residential Field Trip, and Business Field Study in overseas countries are examples of experiential elective courses in the CUHK MBA curriculum. These electives provide MBA students with unique opportunities to apply classroom knowledge to real-world business settings.

LEAP-CAP Programmes with BEAM Stakeholders (LEAP-CAP Programmes)

In addition to the knowledge gained through the unit-bearing MBA curriculum, the CUHK MBA Journey is completed by the “Leadership Experience through Active Participation Programme” (LEAP Programme).

The LEAP Programme of the CUHK MBA is a structured initiative designed to enhance “Beyond Campus” and “Beyond Graduation” learning experiences that bring together our alumni, stakeholders and current students at CUHK MBA community. It is built upon four competency pillars (LEAP Pillars):

The CAP is structured around three CAP Pillars –

Asian Century Focus

The final hallmark of the CUHK MBA, “Asian Century Focus”, underscores the Programmes’ commitment to developing global business leaders for the Asian Century through three key areas of action: “Asian Century Hub for Global Business Leaders”, “Asian Century-Focused Future Industry Exploration”, and “Asian Century-Focused Business and Entrepreneurship Transformation”. These initiatives aim to help CUHK MBA students and graduates acquire the knowledge, skills, resources, and opportunities necessary to navigate the challenges and complexities of the evolving global business landscape as the centre of gravity continues to shift toward Asia.

Application for 2026 Intake

Admissions Requirements of Full-Time and Part-Time MBA

· A recognised bachelor’s degree (normally with honours not lower than Second Class or B grade); or completed a course of study in a tertiary educational institution and obtained professional or similar qualifications equivalent to an honours degree
· Minimum two years of full-time post-qualification work experience
· GMAT/GRE score is not mandatory, but a good score would strengthen the application
· English language proficiency requirement
