#4 Regional Trek to Beijing

Our Beijing Trek—part of the CUHK MBA’s signature Regional Trek Series 2024—was an exclusive deep dive into China’s vibrant economic and cultural landscape. Over the course of the trek, our students and alumni had the unique opportunity to visit leading organisations, gain valuable insights, and connect with influential leaders across a wide range of industries.

From the financial corridors of the People’s Bank of China and Everbright Xinglong Trust Co., Ltd. to innovative companies like Beijing Topnew Info & Tech Co., Ltd and Huawei, participants explored cutting-edge practices in banking, technology, and asset management. We also had the privilege of visiting China Logistics Group, learning about the infrastructure that powers global trade, and gaining new perspectives on China’s evolving market. The trek was not all business, as we also immersed ourselves in Beijing’s cultural heartbeat with a visit to the UCCA Center for Contemporary Art and a stop at the bustling Taikoo Li Sanlitun.

In collaboration with Renmin Business School, we hosted a special mixer event with the Faculty Dean and members of the Renmin Business School Alumni Association, fostering meaningful connections and expanding our professional networks across regions.

This Beijing Trek was not only an incredible learning experience but also a testament to the power of global collaboration in the Asian Century. Kudos to all our hosts and partners for making this journey truly impactful!
