Autumn Study Tour to Hokkaido

An enjoyable October week for a group of MBA students as they went on their Autumn Study Tour to Hokkaido.
During the tour, our MBA students learnt and experienced the different aspects of Japanese industries, their production processes as well as their history and culture.
Hokkaido University & Museum
Hokkaido University was founded in 1876 as The Sapporo Agricultural College and it is now one of the leading universities in the region. The University Museum holds significant specimens and historical documents since its establishment to the present day. Our students then spent time exchanging ideas and sharing insights with professors and graduate students from the University.
Hokkaido Coca Cola
The Hokkaido Coca Cola Factory is responsible for supplying bottled beverages for Japan’s Northern area.
Hokkaido Kikkoman
Visit to Kikkoman Factory tour where students got to see the different steps in the making of soy sauce.
Hokkaido MegMilk Snow Brand
Then to the Megmilk Snow Brand Co. Ltd. The museum showcased the history of dairy farming in Japan.
Asahi Beer
Followed by touring around the Asahi Beer Factory and a close encounter with the entire brewing process, ingredient exhibits and of course beer tasting!
