#1 Regional Trek to Nansha & Shenzhen

Investment in travel is an investment in yourself, and our MBAers have just returned from an extraordinary journey that exemplifies this belief. The first MBA regional trek took our students on a transformative exploration of the dynamic business and technology landscape of Nansha and Shenzhen.

🗺️ Day 1: Exploring the Biz & Tech Landscape in Nansha

The trek commenced with a captivating deep dive into the thriving business and technology scene of Nansha. Our students had the privilege of being personally greeted by Ms. Ruan Xiaohong, Standing Committee Member of the Nansha District Party Committee, and connecting with industry experts, including our esteemed Industry Masters, Mr Tian Kun, General Manager of South China Region of Aiyong Xingchen Group, a comprehensive healthcare service platform, and Ms. Momo Meng, Director of Headquarters Business at Open Sources Securities Investment Banking. These seasoned professionals and their colleagues shared their invaluable expertise and insights, shedding light on the exciting opportunities and emerging trends shaping this region. Through engaging company visits and interactive sessions, participants gained firsthand experience of the innovative initiatives that are driving growth in Nansha.

🗺️ Day 2: AI Development Opportunities at iFLYTEK and CUHK Shenzhen Research Institute The second day of the trek was dedicated to exploring the exciting world of AI development. At iFLYTEK, a leading AI company, our students gained insights into the cutting-edge technologies and groundbreaking advancements shaping the AI landscape. Additionally, the vibrant entrepreneurial community at our CUHK Shenzhen Research Institute provided a platform for students to connect with industry leaders, government representatives, and heartwarmingly, our esteemed CUHK MBA alumni from different cohorts. These connections, at the core of our CUHK MBA Programmes, reflected the spirit of our LEAP @BEAM initiative, fostering meaningful relationships and collaboration with industry experts.

The trek to Nansha and Shenzhen offered an exceptional opportunity for our students to go beyond the confines of the MBA classroom and immerse themselves in the reality of the business world. By connecting with industry professionals, government representatives, and our esteemed alumni, participants gained valuable insights, and expanded their networks.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the officials, companies, and alumni who generously shared their time, knowledge, and experiences with our students during this remarkable regional trek.
