In the outgoing week, we unravel the mastermind of a top marketer: Mr Esmond Mok (MBA 1988) highlighted the key attributes necessary for success in marketing – the ability to make tough choices, underscoring the importance of strategic decision-making in achieving marketing goals. Additionally, he stressed the significance of consumer sensitivity, emphasizing the need to understand and connect with customers on a deeper level. One remarkable example Esmond shared was the resounding success of an advertising campaign he spearheaded at Hang Seng Bank. By leveraging Hong Kong athlete Lee Lai-shan as the face of the bank, he effectively positioned Hang Seng Bank as a trustworthy institution deeply rooted in the local community.
