Approximately 100 mentors and mentees of the MBA Elite Mentorship Program celebrated the Year of the Horse together over a delicious Chiuchow-style dinner on 19 February in Admiralty.

To kick off the event, the dean of the CUHK Business School, Prof. Vernon Hsu, delivered a welcome address and encouraged the students to seize every chance to learn inside and outside of the classroom and to be well-prepared to take on challenges on all fronts. He also introduced the Shenzhen campus that will debut this September. “The Business School will be recruiting the first batch of 300 undergraduate students for the Shenzhen campus for the academic year beginning this September,” the dean said with excitement. “The new Shenzhen campus will enable the Business School to extend its influence beyond Hong Kong and into the Pearl River Delta and Greater China.”

Prof. Hsu further led a toast and thanked the mentors for their continued support and generosity in offering their valuable time to the MBA students. The MBA Mentorship Program has been a distinctive feature of CUHK’s full-time MBA Program.

The enjoyable evening also featured a cocktail and fun lantern riddles specially prepared for the mentees, who collectively hail from 22 countries and found the game stimulating. It was a very good opportunity to connect mentors and mentees in an inviting setting. Special thanks to the Career Management Centre of the MBA Office for arranging this wonderful event.
