CUHK MBA Mentorship Programme Appreciation Dinner
The CUHK MBA Mentorship Programme Appreciation Dinner, one of our MBA signature events was held on the evening of 19 August at Bauhinia Harbour Cruise.
In the past year, 69 top-notch alumni with impressive credentials signed up as mentors to coach 99 MBA students. The mentorship programme has provided one-on-one mentoring to students, so as to help them acquire practical knowledge beyond the classroom and offer advice in developing their career paths. Areas of expertise of mentors cover a wide array of industries including banking and finance, consulting, technology, FMCG, retail and luxury goods, entrepreneurship and more.
Prof. Lin Zhou, the Dean of the CUHK Business School, delivered his vote of thanks to the mentors who gave back selflessly and devoted their time to the mentorship. CUHK is very honoured to have support from our powerful alumni network. Their involvement and contribution are invaluable.
The night was filled with joy and laughter where mentors and mentees mingled and unwound together over the beautiful Victoria Harbour. Mentor and mentee speaker pairs shared their experiences and what mentorship has meant for them so far. It was a great night to wrap up a successful mentoring experience. We all believe that the end of this year’s programme doesn’t mark the end of the mentorship journey, but the beginning of a lifelong relationship.
