Distinguished Speaker Event by CUHK MBA Gourmet Club

The Distinguished Speaker Event – “Taipan Snowy Mooncake – A Journey of Innovations” organized by CUHK MBA Gourmet Club was completed successfully on Jan 20. We are honored to have Mr. Garic Kwok, Director and Chief Officer (Business Development) of Taipan Bread & Cakes Co. Ltd, to be the guest speaker.

Garic began with the story of innovating and introducing the Taipan Snowy Mooncake to the market. Taipan was the first one to introduce Snowy Mooncake in 1989 and has been the top seller in the Hong Kong market. This has created a great impact to the traditional mooncake industry and the business development of the other competitors. Garic then shared his thoughts and experiences of product innovations and his insight into doing business in Hong Kong and China.

Participants enjoyed the talk and had a lively discussion about the business environment with Garic.
