Japan Club celebrates the Lunar Festival - 1

The Japan Club co-organised with the Student Association a lunar festival celebration on 16 February.

With over 50 full-time and part-time students showed up at the event. Heaps of fun and laughter plus plenty of food, including hand-rolled sushi, octopus balls, Japanese sake and mochi. Some of the dishes were prepared on the spot which gave our club members first-hand experience to handle Japanese cooking and then enjoyed the dishes made by themselves. The food was proved to be extremely popular and it all ran out in less than 15 minutes.

All members thoroughly enjoyed the event, it was a great opportunity to learn more about Japanese culture and its cuisine.
