Japan Trip with Shizenkan University

This summer, our alumni and students embarked on an inspiring journey with Shizenkan University （大学院大学至善館）during the Japan Trip 2024. The experience provided a perfect blend of Japan’s rich cultural heritage and forward-thinking innovation, offering deep insights into Japanese management and leadership. From exploring the dynamic Shibuya city development to visiting leading companies like Toyota Motor Corporation, Muji Ginza, and Hakuhodo Inc., participants witnessed firsthand how tradition and modernity coexist in Japan’s business landscape.

Highlights of the trip included a sharing session with the current president of Fukujuen, where we learned the art of tea-making rooted in centuries-old tradition, and a tour of KOKUYO ’s Live Office, showcasing innovative workspace designs. Along the way, we engaged with visionary entrepreneurs and discussed important themes such as sustainability and impact-driven business, essential to Japan’s future economic and societal growth.

This transformative journey not only deepened our understanding of Japanese leadership principles, but also strengthened the bonds within our global community.
