MBA Orientation 2024

“The best way to predict your future is to create it.” As we welcome our new class of MBA students, the saying encapsulates the spirit of the MBA Orientation 2024—a pivotal moment for growth, learning, and transformation.

Kicking off with the Asian Century Summit, students engaged with thought leaders discussing the evolving business landscape in Asia and beyond. From there, the focus shifted to professionalism, emphasising the values and standards that will guide them through their MBA journey. The Pre-term sessions, including Management Competencies and Current Perspectives, laid a solid foundation, followed by the Quant Bootcamp, which ensured our cohort is ready to tackle the analytical challenges ahead.

But it wasn’t all academics! Students bonded during the Outward Bound adventure, pushing their limits through teamwork and resilience-building exercises. We also took a moment to express gratitude with our Family Thanksgiving celebration, honouring the support systems that empower us all. Lastly, the hands-on Python Workshop gave students an edge in mastering essential data and tech skills, critical for today’s business world.

This dynamic start has created a strong sense of the CUHK MBA community. We can’t wait to see how this talented cohort will shape the future of business!
