SDA Bocconi International Competition in Finance

Five of our students, Aayush Rai, Alvin So, Varun Magoon, Wei Jun Feng and Yannan Bai, travelled to Milan this April for the International Competition in Finance, which is organized by the Finance Club of the MBA at SDA Bocconi School of Management. It is a competition for MBA students. Fourteen internationally-recognized business schools were invited, for example, HEC, INSEAD and more. Every team was tasked to come up with a new business model to re-vitalize the retail sector of the energy market in Italy and at the same time, create a valuation model for a take-over bid.

“Not only were we able to learn from each other, but also to meet some future leaders from around the world. We learned to appreciate the difference in culture, value, and the perspective of people from all walks of life. Then ultimately form new friendships that I am sure will last a lifetime.
