Venturing into its 12th year, the annual Sustainability Conference has successfully concluded on 6th May 2019. The Conference managed a diverse turnout of industry experts, students, alumni and Faculty, bringing together a total of four panel discussions, two changemakers talk series and two workshops and has invited a pool of industry experts, who were there to share their knowledge and insights. The agenda for the day was full on and multi-faceted. Whilst all attendees shared common interests in ESG, circular economies, sustainable workplaces and green finance, the panels and discussions were innovative, thought-provoking and practical!
“It is amazing how one of the largest student-led platforms in Asia brought together over 200 participants, 25 speakers, 21 partners across 75 organisations. Together we discussed sustainability as a strategy aligning profit and purpose, leading to our sustainable future. Partnerships, as one of the 17 SDG goals, is the key to achieve a common goal. The honour of the success of the conference is dedicated to our distinguished speakers, supporting partners, MBA office, student volunteers and my committee members. We hope the conference is another milestone in every attendant’s sustainability journey and drives the embracement of sustainability in every individual.” – Joanna Iu, President of 2019 CSR Committee
And this memorable programme will continue to set the momentum for future conferences. We look forward to another successful conference and to seeing you all in the next year!
