Indian MBA Student Ambassador – Shaarang Begani
“It felt so different being in the CUHK campus and it is the best decision I have made to be here. The beautiful campus, the top-notch facilities, the approachable teaching faculties, everything exceeds my expectations.”
Like many other international students, being able to physically attend the MBA programme in Hong Kong this year took Shaarang Begani (MBA Full-time 2020 intake) determination, courage and some luck. From collecting useful students’ and alumni’s online experience, taking the GMAT, to arranging a visa and traffic, COVID-19 made the whole experience totally different and Shaarang learnt to be more open-minded and agile even before his official MBA journey started.
“I researched different MBA programmes in the region and talked to a senior colleague at EY who is a CUHK MBA alumna, who gave a strong recommendation to the CUHK MBA programme.” Shaarang is now part of CUHK MBA Class of 2021 and has been enjoying his campus life, reaching out to supportive teaching faculties, and proactively working with Career Management Centre on career coaching and internship opportunities. COVID-19 has been uncontrollable, so Shaarang chose to plan ahead, embedding a positive and open-minded perspective, focusing energy and looking forward.
