Japanese MBA Student Ambassador – Yuki Shimokawara
“I found the programme very practical and I learnt a significant amount from my Elite Mentor. My mentor is a GM and he brought me to networking events which really broadened my horizons and connections.”
Yuki Shimokawara (MBA Full-time 2020 Intake) worked for Mazda Motor Corporation in the China market and would love to explore career opportunities in China. Impressed by the supportive MBA team and friendly Japanese MBA alumni community, Yuki decided CUHK MBA was the right choice.
Yuki has loved every experience with the CUHK MBA so far, from the on-campus accommodation environment, friendly and supportive cohort, the practicality of courses, and most important of all, the elite mentorship programme. “I knew about the elite mentorship programme but I wouldn’t have expected such seniority. My mentor is a GM and some of my cohort’s mentors are C-suite executives of renowned companies. What is truly amazing is they are all very friendly and supportive.”
CUHK MBA is the first MBA programme in the region that has nearly 7,000 MBA alumni globally. Only those with mentoring or coaching experience are invited to be Elite Mentors to ensure our students receive proper support.
Yuki is looking forward to attending the signature course ‘Applied Entrepreneurship’ by Professor Wilton Chau and he would love to share more on his learning journey with CUHK MBA prospective students.
