MBA Blog: On to the Other Side of the World
Current MBA student Monica Dee is currently in the United States for an exchange at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business (Fuqua). Dee will stay there for the next four months to complete her final academic term before graduating from the MBA.
Dee indicated in her latest blog published in Financial Times that Fuqua is located in a quiet part of town in Durham, North Carolina, which is the exact opposite to the ever so busy Hong Kong. Dee stated that CUHK MBA has taught her over the past year how to adapt to conditions or situations she is not accustomed to. She thought that it is a valuable experience to be exposed to different ways of life in different locations around the world.
Dee also wrote in her blog that the decision to do her exchange program at Fuqua is definitely one of the best decisions she have ever made. She is studying there along with a group of 47 other incoming exchange students from more than 20 countries. As the group is diverse with talented MBA students from some of the best business schools in the world, it is contributing immensely the globalization of her MBA education and experience…
