CUHK MBA Team – iSP Inc

CUHK MBA Team – iSP Inc, is teamed up in five members, four current part-time 2nd year MBA students, namely Joseph Leung, Joyce Wong, Cameron Hon, Sonia Huang, and one CUHK MBA Alumnus, Wayne Chan, who is original inventor of the US-patented bladder curvature detection technology commercialized as baby toilet training device – ‘BabyGo’.

Hear what the team say……

Blessed with adaptive and insightful battlefield advisories from Professor Wilton Chau, and synergized from our teammates’ different working expertise in the fields of biomedical engineering in baby product development, investment, marketing, supply chain, and management/ HR consulting, our team presented pragmatic business model in marketing positioning, operational planning and product R&D areas. These competitive edges, our great perseverance and team spirit enabled us to strive through from semi-final and play-off round to be qualified as one of 6 finalists in final round among fierce competition. Though we were neither native English speaker nor championed as winner in this competition, we won the Best Presentation of our group, thanks to our creativity, persuasiveness and team collaboration.

All in all, we succeeded in not only enriching our entrepreneurial determination and spirit by learning different innovation and dimensions from participating teams, what’s more important for us is to shed light on its pragmatic learning and practice approach adopted in CUHK MBA entrepreneurship program, and helps us to attract different interested parties/ investors all over the world to further explore our project. This journey is once-in-a-life chance and experience to integrate our school learning into real-world practice and develop business. We are more than welcomed to share our experience and insight of this competition and start-up journey with all of you. Stay tuned.
