Q1. Could you briefly describe your current job scope?
My job scope is to support global growth efforts of Apple with a focus on developing new business opportunities, uncovering ways to optimise existing partnerships, and helping to drive analyses of key strategic projects.
My daily responsibilities include collaborating with business leads to set strategic priorities and goals, as well as designing, building, and implementing the department’s ongoing and long-term business planning function.
Q2. How would you describe the San Francisco Bay Area?
Dynamic, risk-taking, and with lots of possibilities.
The San Francisco Bay Area is a hub of innovation and entrepreneurship, with a thriving startup scene and wealth of resources to support new ventures. The area’s culture of risk-taking and experimentation also creates a fertile ground for innovation, making it an ideal location for anyone looking to pursue ambitious dreams.
Q3. Which industry do you see strong business potential in the area and why?
Healthcare technology. America is in a desperate need for affordable healthcare, and the SF Bay Area has a number of established and emerging healthtech companies as well as a strong ecosystem of investors, incubators, and accelerators. The combination of talent, funding and market potential makes it a prime location for healthtech companies to establish themselves and grow business.
Q4. What did you miss the most from your study in CUHK Business School?
The greatest asset, and what I miss the most, is the interaction I had with my classmates and professors. I enjoyed how everyone came from very diverse backgrounds and shared their experiences and thoughts with one another.
